We welcome gently used and pre-loved books, including:

❌ We cannot accept damaged books, magazines, Pamphlets, notebooks, Non-book items, study handbooks or outdated technical manuals.

You can schedule a pickup with Booqland or drop off books at our donation points across the Dubai & UAE.
Do you offer free book pickup in the UAE?
Yes we will. If you’re in the UAE and we approve your donation batch, we can arrange a pick-up or a convenient drop point.
Where do the donated books go?
We work with purpose at our core. Some of your pre-loved books are resold at affordable prices in our store, making reading accessible to budget-conscious readers across Dubai and the UAE. At Booqland, we collaborate with over 10 NGOs across Africa and several in Asia to ensure your donated books reach communities in need. Proceeds from pre-loved book sales, along with newly donated books, are distributed to schools, libraries, refugee camps, and mobile libraries. Can we donate non-English books?
While English books are mainly accepted, we’re always happy to accept French, Arabic and Farsi books.

Why dont you accept single use items?
Single-use items (like activity books with one-time use pages, disposable worksheets, or partially used workbooks etc.) cant be reused or passed on to multiple readers, often already marked or written in.
What other items do you not accept?
- Damaged or Torn Books with missing pages, water damage, mold, heavy writing, or broken spines.
- Outdated Textbooks those over 5 years old or irrelevant to current curriculums.
- Encyclopedias & Dictionaries
- Magazines, Newspapers, & Journals
- Books Promoting Hate, Discrimination, or Violence.
- Books in Poor Condition and excessively worn out books can’t be passed on or sold.
What to keep in mind about your donations.
Your donated books should be reusable books (storybooks, novels, educational books with lasting value). They should be clean, intact books that can be enjoyed by more many readers.
