This website is operated by Booqland ("we", "our", or "us"). We are an e-commerce bookstore providing delivery of books across Dubai and the UAE. Our website and services are hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the platform to offer our books to you.

 

2. General Conditions

We reserve the right to deny service to any individual, at any time, and for any reason.

You acknowledge that your content (excluding credit card details) may be transmitted without encryption and could involve (a) transfers across multiple networks, and (b) modifications to meet the technical requirements of connecting systems or devices. Credit card data is always encrypted when transmitted over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service, the use of the Service, access to the Service, or any contact on the website through which the Service is delivered, without our express written consent.

 

3. Eligibility to Use

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or
  • You are under 18 and have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, especially when placing orders for children’s and Educational books or material.

We reserve the right to restrict or deny access to our services to anyone, for any reason, at our sole discretion.

 

4. Product Descriptions & Pricing

We strive to display book titles, images, prices, and descriptions as accurately as possible. However:

  • Minor differences in book cover designs or editions may occur.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to limit or cancel any orders, especially in cases of fraud or bulk/reseller activity.

 

5. Orders, Delivery & Availability

  • Orders placed within Dubai are eligible for same-day delivery if placed before the cutoff time displayed on the website.
  • Orders to other Emirates are typically delivered within 2–3 working days.
  • Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Unforeseen delays may occur.
  • All orders are subject to availability. In the event a book becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative or refund.

 

6. Payment Terms

We accept:

  • Online card payments (via secure checkout)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) in select regions of the UAE
  • Bank Transfer via all UAE banks only. 

All transactions are processed in UAE Dirhams (AED). You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and shipping information for all purchases.

 

7. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect only the essential personal data needed to fulfill your order:

  • Full name
  • Shipping address
  • Email address
  • Phone number (for delivery coordination)

8. Refunds & Returns

We accept returns and refunds only in the following case:

  • The book is physically damaged or defective upon delivery.
  • You report the issue within 2 days of receiving the book.
  • The book is returned in unused and original condition.

To initiate a return, email booqland@gmail.com with a photo of the damaged item, your order number and receipt. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.

 

9. Use of Website

By using this website, you agree that you will not:

  • Violate any laws, including UAE laws
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • Use the site for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others

These Terms of service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In case of a dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably with us. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
